I’m curious about the biological “reset button.” When I was in my early 30s, the recovery time was basically non-existent. Now that I’m 41, I’ve noticed that while the drive is still 100% there especially after a long time away from my partner. The hardware sometimes needs a dedicated “reboot” period. My Dilemma: Sometimes the “reunion energy” is so high that we want to go again immediately but the dick has its own schedule. It’s that awkward gap where the mind is ready but the physics haven’t caught up yet. What’s your “average” wait time these days? Are we talking 15 minutes, 2 hours or “see you tomorrow”? Have you found any “hacks” (hydration, specific foods or just strategic pacing) that actually work to shorten the gap? How do you handle that “buffer zone” with your partner so the momentum doesn’t just die out? Let’s hear the honest truth. Is the “instant Round 2” a myth past age 40 or are some of you still living the dream? submitted by /u/BeyondTheFirewall
