I’m from northwestern Switzerland, and I’m thinking about getting the Magic Pass. It looks amazing and I heard someone raving about it at work, but he is an avid skier and I’m not sure if it’s really worth it for me. I probably only manage to ski around 5 times a year at most, and most of the resorts are at least 1.5 hours away. On the other hand, I really enjoy hiking and spending time in the mountains during summer and autumn, so I’m wondering if the pass is valuable for that side as well. Do the included destinations offer good hiking options, or is it more of a winter-oriented deal? The website allows filtering for summer as well but the descriptions are for winter sports 420 CHF is quite a bit of money for me right now, so I’d love to hear from people who’ve used it, especially if you’re in a similar situation (occasional skier, mountain lover).
