I’m not talking about standard stuff like surviving a zombie apocalypse or what you’d do if you won the lottery. I mean hyper-niche, totally useless situations. For example, I have a fully fleshed-out mental strategy for how I would explain the internet to a medieval peasant without getting executed for witchcraft. I have analogies prepared. I have a whole step-by-step introduction. I will obviously never need this. Time travel isn’t real. Yet, I genuinely refine this imaginary speech in the shower at least once a month just to make sure there are no plot holes.
