I (28m) was at work today like usual. I’m not sure what her job was, but a really cute and bubbly women was stood outside the workshop all day. I had to walk past her several times and decided to talk to her as I imagine she was board (I know I would be). Also, I’m trying to break out of my shell more, which I’m quite proud of doing. It was normal conversation, I didn’t overstay my welcome, nor did I say or do anything weird. Each time was one or two minutes at most. On two occasions, she was the one who started the conversation first, meaning that she was at least somewhat interested (friendly, not flirty), overwise she probably wouldn’t have. Despite making jokes and having a cool interaction, I left work feeling like I creeped her out and somehow bothering her, even though standing around for 8 hours doing nothing is much worse than a fun conversation. Logically, this doesn’t make any sense, so why do I think this? This also happens whenever I talk to a women in a bar at the weekend. For whatever reason, I feel like a creep for simply being a normal person. submitted by /u/DescriptionFuture851
