I recently came across this comment online during a discussion about parental regret. The comment said: “The love is great but you’re downplaying what being a parent is. Would I die for my kids? Yes. Do I love them more than anything? Yes. If I could go back in time would I decide not to have kids? Yes.” I found this interesting because it seems like two things at once: loving your children deeply but still regretting becoming a parent. For fathers here is this something people can genuinely feel? How do you interpret a statement like this?
