Hey Reddit, I’m a fresher (joined IT company H ~6 months ago) and currently working in a team where I share the same cubicle with a guy. I’m a very private person and not interested in anything beyond professional relationships at work. Recently, this guy has been texting me, checking in frequently, offering to drop me home, and has dropped me a few times as well. I started feeling uncomfortable and have been avoiding that now. The bigger issue is that my team has started teasing him (indirectly involving me), and people smile or make comments when they see us sitting together (we share the same space, so it’s unavoidable). I’m not interested at all and just want to focus on my career and growth, but this whole situation is becoming distracting and awkward. How do I handle this without creating drama, especially since I have to see him daily? I’m not interested at all, how do I shut this down? submitted by /u/Key_Card7466
