I made a post previously on this topic 9 months ago. Essentially, The Jagex Launcher is running through a translation layer on all Macs right now, because it’s an Intel Application. Whenever you click click the Info of an App and open its details. Kinds of apps can be seen here . Apple has sent out reminders to developers this year that Rosetta support will be ending next year. Users of the Jagex launcher on beta versions of macOS 26.4 are seeing messages about it already. Runelite was updated 5 years ago to be compatible with Apple Silicon. But for some reason, Jagex is dragging their feet on this. The only response I’ve seen came from /u/jagexayiza seven months ago when he said this will be resolved in 2025 . Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I suspect some internal shuffling related to the departure of people on the Launcher teams, like Mod Genghis, may have delayed this, but that’s pure conjecture by me. I truly hope Jagex doesn’t drag their feet much longer, because we are rapidly approaching a point where every Mac user with a Jagex account will be suddenly unable to play, and a LOT of posts will be flooding this subreddit on that day. submitted by /u/UnusualHound
