Hello I am an autistic male. I work in retail. Oftentimes hispanic customers call me “boss” whilst I am ringing them up on the cash register. This makes me happy when they call me this. In what social context is it appropriate to reciprocate calling other men “boss”? I want to make them feel like a boss, too. When exactly is it normal to call another guy “boss”. And when is it not normal? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
