Reposting here, feels like a better fit than the discussion tab Some ideas for Mega Rare weapons from the upcoming raid. As a disclaimer I am not a balancer, and my numbers could be way off the mark for what can be implemented. I mainly wanted to convey some new ideas where power could be shifted to still make a weapon a mega rare without taking away from what’s already in the game. The numbers can be altered to make sure nothing is overturned, but I thought that some of these new style mechanics or tweaked abilities on existing mechanics could add some fun gameplay and add options to the game. The personification of guthix himself. +120 Stab +100 slash +100 crush +100 strength Special Name: Equilibrium - A balanced mind can see all. Special determined by combat style Accurate Rend - A devastating attack piercing armour flesh and bone alike. Guarantees a hit with a minimum of 50% of your maximum hit Aggressive Obliterate - A ruinous strike, destroying everything it touches. Swing twice, dal double the damage you would have done Controlled Repulse - A forceful counterattack that protects the user. Mitigate 50% of the next instance of damage within the next 10 ticks, upon getting hit within this timeframe unleash a no delay counterstrike with a double accuracy roll. Heal for 100% of the damage dealt Defensive Perfect Guard - A technique capable of even repelling the gods. Become immune to damage for the next 5 ticks. Special Name: Debilitating Flay - Nothing can escape Deaths Embrace, we must all heed the call. Consume all stacks to cripple an opponent reducing their attack speed by two ticks for 40 ticks.
