i was putting in 5 hour days picking flax for like a week after school and selling them for 100gp each in seers bank. i was so close to dragon platelegs i think they were about 3.1m at the time and I had like 2.9m after liquidating everything. i yearned to be one of the cool kids with the white beret, doctor top, glory, cooking gloves, desert boots, god book, and of course d platelegs. i was almost there my irl friends brother pmed me and said hey bro i’ll give you 200k to buy those legs if you let me wear them for a game in castle wars… and little me thought since it’s my friends brother he would never take my d legs. i lost my d legs that day. he logged out after about 6 messages to him spanning ~30 mins. im pretty sure i cried. in the same week i went to the dual arena and tricked some kid selling a whip for 4.2m i put up 42004 gp and he accepted extremely fast. i felt bad about it but i was able to get my d legs in the long run. submitted by /u/astrongnaut
