For me, 99% of the time most of my dating has been out to dinner or takeout, but I’ve always done all the cooking. My father is big into cooking, I cooked at Ruth’s Chris during high school and gained a lot of skills, I really enjoy cooking. I’m also real big on cleanliness with things I’m going to eat so when I’m cooking, I’m always washing my hands, washing the produce thoroughly, I know what I will be eating will be top notch. I think once in the last twenty years I had someone cook dinner, right after I got out of college. It was a basic pasta dish, it was great, but I can’t think of any other time someone I’ve been dating offered to invite me over to cook dinner. Honestly, I’d rather be the one cooking but I’m curious to know what everyone else has experienced. submitted by /u/gamerdudeNYC
