Mine passed away when I was young. But before that, I shared many fond moments with him. Some of my favorite memories are of my dad sneaking into my room after everyone was asleep (I have always had trouble sleeping, even as a child) and reading me books. Books like Lord Of The Flies, The Outsiders, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. He really instilled in me this love I have for stories and reading and provided that escape for me. He would do all the voices for each character differently and made sure to explain what certain words meant. I always thought it was so fun that we were the only ones awake. Love ya and miss you everyday dad. What about you guys? submitted by /u/freebirdjohnson
