I live with my gf and she is looking for work again, as her one year contract will soon terminate. She doesn’t want to work any regular job anymore, as she says she hates it and burns her out. Anyways she would never get a job with her degree (lack of exact experience), as she was looking for 2 years before we got this job for her with some connections. The job search burned her totally out too. She has several ideas, tried crocheting (loved it, but you cannot earn anything), now tries to make candles (not the basic ones) and wants to start doing photography. As I understand the situation here, you cannot earn from these things more, than 1-2 k per month, except you are doing it for decades. I am very frustrated, that it seems that I have to be the sole breadwinner again (we can survive ok with my salary). I understand that she doesn’t want to work regular jobs anymore, but scared at the same time, as her ideas will never earn anything here. (If she would make 3.5-4 k, it would already be a significant change) Any experience, did someone built any similar businesses, where you can earn at least slightly over 3-4k? submitted by /u/Legitimate_Change756
