I am a girl, and a few days ago, I met a guy from another country on a dating app. We started a friendly conversation there. Although it was a dating app, we both shared an interest in politics, so we spent the whole night discussing it. Neither of us was actually looking for a relationship; I was just curious about how the app worked. After that initial friendly conversation, we moved to Instagram. He told me he had a crush on a girl who was ignoring him at the time, and he shared everything about it with me. After ghosting him for a while, she started reaching out again reacting to his stories and reposting his content and he kept me updated on all of it. I also shared stories from my past with him. In the meantime, he unmatched me on the dating app, which I took normally since we were already talking elsewhere. We got along really well and shared so many things; I even asked if he would ever block me, and he said no. However, after talking for a few days, he stopped checking my texts. It has been four days now. When I checked his profile, I saw that he had removed me from his followers list and unfollowed me as well. It bothers me because I’m shocked. What could be the reason for a guy to do this? We didn’t have anything serious or offensive between us. Why would he do this out of nowhere? submitted by /u/big_mouth67
