Ran a quick experiment tonight. I make music and took one of my songs and described it to AI. Story, mood, instruments, vocal tone. But I never let it hear the actual track. So it had to generate its own version purely from the written idea of the song. Now there are two versions. Mine and the AI interpretation. Curious which one people think feels more human emotionally. Original Spotify https://open.spotify.com/track/3SZ136cvELb9iJ3IkPKa07 AI version Udio https://www.udio.com/songs/t47L6McB2GTFBmJKAm6XBj Description I gave it Indie rock ballad about heartbreak at the hands of a woman emotionally hardened like stone. Memories resurfacing after finding a photograph of a similar beauty, pulling the narrator back into a past love affair in Manhattan from Soho to Lexington as she drifted away emotionally and socially. Melancholic dreamy tone. Guzheng textures, acoustic guitar, piano, upright bass, soft drums, ambient keys, layered electric guitars building emotionally. Intimate vulnerable male vocal. Slow swaying energy that builds into something more dramatic. Warm slightly lo fi production. If anyone wants to drop their own songs I’ll listen and respond too.
