I have been testing the recent update to Opus, specifically dialing the effort controls up and down to see where the sweet spot is for different tasks. In practice, setting it to higher effort seems to reduce output errors noticeably when dealing with complex logic, but the tradeoff in speed and cost is definitely something to manage. For routine boilerplate or simpler scripts, dialing it down keeps things moving fast without much loss in quality. Has anyone else found a specific configuration or workflow that optimally balances the reasoning depth with response time? Interested to hear what approaches are working well for others dealing with larger codebases. submitted by /u/HarrisonAIx
