If I’m honest I think the majority of things like geopolitics and economics will continue to get worse for some time unfortunately, Which makes this worse. In respect to AI and current machine learning I think we will have improvements, slow gradual job loss and people will still be arguing about AGI and prophesying Super Intelligence. I can see agents improving but I find it likely if we aren’t already hitting the ceiling we will soon and most of use cases will come from slow steady integration and optimising usage. We joke a lot about Black mirror but we are unfortunately living in it in the sense we have a technology that is probabilistic we tout to be the answer to all our problems while CEOs stand on stage and get away with saying whatever they pretty much want. Probably going to get hammered for this post but it’s my honest opinion and if I’m wrong well hopefully things work out better. Tl;dr: Not much will change all that much because we are already in a weird timeline. 2030 in my opinion is more boring and grounded than the current wild promises and doom. submitted by /u/Nocturnal_Sherbet
