A friend of mine wants a guy who’s well-off. It’s one of her criteria in a partner. Not a millionaire flying in private jets but someone who’s not worried about money. The ‘order what he wants at a restaurant’ type without caring how much it costs. Someone who’s earning well above the average wage and is financially savvy, invests his money etc. When I first heard about that my immediate thought was she’s a gold digger. But, is she? Or does she just have a preference which isn’t any different to another kind of preference? She’s not rich herself but has a good job and earns an average wage so she expects something out of her partner which she doesn’t have herself but again, not a bad thing… right? submitted by /u/Open_Address_2805
