I am the IT/Dev for an organization that held a conference over the past few days, and I run their event system. I was using Claude Code CLI in the terminal and Claude Code Desktop during the conference to push code updates, and had absolutely no issues whatsoever connecting remotely to the staging server on EC2 via SSH. I got home from the conference, made some updates, and now CCD will not stay connected. It won’t even show me the conversation that was taking place in the project I reopened. If i start a new project for the same remote host, I get prompted for my SSH password, and it will connect. I go back to my project, and I see the blue dot for the remote pass info below the prompt box. As soon as I send anything, the blue dot turns gray, and I get no response at all. This all worked flawlessly, leading up to and during the conference. What the hell happened? Even when I try to create a new project for the same EC2, but a completely different working directory, it is the same thing. I can SSH into the EC2 instance using the same credentials from the terminal and use CCCli with no problems, but I want to use the Desktop because I have found it performs much better. Did something happen with CCD in the last 48 hours?? Edit: I will say it is working perfectly fine for a project I have on my laptop. It is just the remote SSH. submitted by /u/Copernicus-jones
