Apologies for the less than fun nature of this post. I’m an F26 journalist in the city writing a feature on women who have been digitally harassed or blackmailed using AI deepfake technology. As generative AI tools make it possible for virtually anyone to fabricate explicit content using a woman’s likeness, the issue is still woefully unregulated and underreported.
