Now ofc as I say this I realize the hilarity in my title. If any of you actual senior devs out there saw my actual workflow you would laugh out loud. But I truly believe I am now a senior dev. And senior devs are super senior devs. And so on. I am literally commanding 3 different agents at work as if they are my tireless, obedient, always willing team of dutiful junior devs just waiting at my beck and call. There are definitely days where my lack of experience shows. And I spend an entire day going down some rabbit hole because the AI fed me some misguidance that an actual senior dev would have spotted right away and rerouted the AI towards the correct path. But 90% of the time: “Here do this complicated thing I am kinda describing coherently in some half baked paragraph. Go.” And in 10 seconds I get .py file(s) that do EXACTLY what I wanted using better methods than I could have dreamed of. And what is absolutely mind boggling is that I am learning more code than ever before while doing this. You would have expected the opposite. But no, I now understand concepts and commands that I never even knew existed. It is actually wild. I am convinced that over the course of this year we will soon be chatting with these agents in voice calls and having anywhere from 6-10 agents working on something important for you at all times. submitted by /u/OpinionsRdumb
