I am taking a medication that has to be approved by my health insurance once a year before my Dr can re-prescribe it. Let’s say my prescription runs from June 26 to June 27. If I change health insurer at the end of 2026, will the new insurer honour the last 6 months of the prescription automatically? Or does my Dr have to reapply? submitted by /u/AquaDelphia
