(I am a Filipino based in Basel only staying for about 3 years for husband’s short-term assignment): Should I contribute to the AVS system? I am currently still employed with my PH company, and work remotely. I continue to pay my social security in the Philippines (taxed in PH too), and somehow do not see the point of contributing to AHV if we will not stay nor continue living here. I was told that there is a way to submit Certificate of Continued Liability to AHV so I can be exempt. Anyone experience this? And what was the process like? submitted by /u/Able_Fig_5499
