Nightmare and I think a couple other NPCs have lore tied to a land to the east called Ashihama, presumably a fuedal Japan themed island. Would be cool to see that added in a future sailing update. Looks like it might be intended anyway since that part of the sea is affected by the pink swirlies (Cursed seas) you’ll notice on the run to Nightmare. I think a quest that builds on why Nightmare came to Morytania would be sick, would be neat if it was a decently sized island. Maybe even slap a boss there with some Japanese themed gear drops or something so the edgelords can finally get a usable katana. submitted by /u/Cindersash
