Between the recent Air Canada incident, the plane and helicopter mid-air collision in Washington last year, and ICE agents now stationed at U.S. airports, it all feels pretty unsettling. I’ve been avoiding flights to the U.S. just to skip the entry hassle and also avoid the risks, but it’s wild how many people I know are still flying there for vacation like it’s nothing. Like one friend that wants to go to the upcoming World Cup or another couple that is going to Texas for holidays. I’ve got a friend in New York I haven’t visited in ages, and I’d love to visit, but the whole situation makes me hesitate. Also they check my social media they will see that I am not a big fan of the crazy orange. What about you? Would you still fly to the U.S. right now? submitted by /u/LlamaFromTheAlps
