I have been living in Geneva for quite some time now and, while this might be a sign of the current times we live in, lately I can’t escape this eerie feeling that a lot of expats here are either borderline insane or just simply full of sh*t. I feel like we have so many people “adrift” here and it’s just too easy to pretend to be someone you’re not, or just reinvent yourself, because there really is no way of verifying people’s pasts.
