This happened years ago. I moved into my previous apartment back in spring of 2019 when I was 28 years old. My neighbors that stayed below me were a family of four: the dad, mother, their daughter & their son. I never had any real type of relationship with them but we had a somewhat decent rapport. The only time we ever really spoke is in passing when either me or one of them were getting mail, washing clothes, going in & out the building, etc. 4 years go by and the daughter is on winter break from university. I was coming back from Hyvee with a few groceries and she saw me in the hall walking upstairs to my apartment while she was going downstairs to the laundry room to wash clothes. She mentioned that she wished they there was a Hyvee store nearby her university because certain items she couldn’t get from the grocery stores by her school. I mentioned that I understood because only certain keto snacks that I could only find there that I couldn’t get anywhere else & the conversation segued into fitness and lifestyle. I made mention that it was my cheat day from eating clean & I was actually heading to out to Buffalo Wild Wings later on. She told me that she loved B-Dubs & asked could she go with me. It kind of threw me off because I was thinking wait do why didn’t she just go ??? And what would her parents think ? I said something to the effect of “uuhh… yeah i won’t mind but would your parents be cool with that ??” She flat out told me that she was an adult that could make her own decisions & we’re just two neighbors sharing a meal. I knew right then & there in the back of my mind that this girl was probably interested in me. I told her yeah I understand but I’d just feel more comfortable if you just gave them a heads up where you’ll be if you leave with me because they’ll probably wonder where you are and if they see us coming back with each other I don’t want them to get any ideas. And then that’s when she told me her parents, neither her brother were even there. She told me her parents left for vacation to visit family back in Ethiopia years ago & her brother was staying at a friend’s place. I told her “you know what it’s not that deep. Give me your number and I’ll call you when I’m ready.” We exchanged numbers, time came for us to go and we head off to BWW. While we were there I’m asking her about school, she asks about my job, etc. We start talking about TV shows and I mention Breaking Bad and she tells me that she never saw it. I tell her it’s on Netflix and she tells me they don’t have Netflix. I knew I could’ve just simply offered her my log in info but I said to myself fuck it & told her that she could come over sometime and watch it with me. Without any hesitation she asked could she come over and watch it tonight. I told her she could. Right then it was confirmed that I knew she wanted to fuck me and I was game. Look, I know what a lot of you are thinking, but at this point this was nothing more than another young woman that I’m out on a date with who just happens to live below me with her parents. And moreover, she was very physically attractive. She was slim, curvy, very beautiful, and her skin looked like frickin caramel her complexion was beautiful. I just never paid attention to her in that way and looked at her in THAT light until our conversation in the laundry room. So hours go by it’s about 6:30-7pm and she comes over. I’m had just made myself a drink and I asked her did she want one and she said yes. She had a drink back at BWW so I knew she was of age to drink already. We get through the first episode and then we just start getting more cuddly. Midway into the second episode we’re spooning and eventually she lays on her back and we’re talking through the episode. When it goes off we start to kiss, one thing led to another, & then we cross the line. Afterwards, I felt a BIT guilty being that it was my neighbor’s daughter but at the same time it was exciting & I didn’t feel guilt because we’re both adults having fun. She came back over maybe 3 times more during her break after that because i didn’t want to keep risking my neighbors on my floor getting wind of anything and alerting her folks. She graduated the following Spring and we didn’t see much of each other that summer because she went to vacation with friends in LA for most of the summer. When she got back we linked up at air BNBs and even took a few road trips over to Chicago and would stay the weekend. She eventually ended up taking a job in NYC that October and moved. Her parents never found out til this day. I ended up moving down to Florida the next year but we still keep in contact from time to time. A few people told me that I was wrong for crossing the line with her , others have told me there was nothing wrong with what I did . What’s your opinion ? submitted by /u/Upstairs_Nose_2155
