I’m a 20-year-old guy from India, and I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. I’m not asexual, but for some reason, I feel like I want to stay single for life. I don’t feel like getting into relationships, hookups, or all that. I just want to live alone, focus on myself, and avoid all the unnecessary drama. But at the same time, I don’t really understand how that life actually looks in the long term. Like: How do men who stay single their whole life actually live? Don’t they feel lonely? What becomes their purpose? What kind of mindset do they develop? Sometimes I feel like I’m choosing peace, but other times I wonder if I’m just running away from something or missing out on an important part of life. I want to understand this lifestyle from people who are actually living it or have experience with it. What is your daily life like? How do you deal with loneliness (if it exists)? What keeps you going? Also, if you were in my position at 20, what would you tell yourself? I’d really appreciate honest answers and advice. submitted by /u/oo-mid-000
