Hoi zämme I realised that going to the Badi is a very Swiss thing to do, it’s part of the culture. Other countries might as well have outdoor swimming pools but the experience of going to the Badi is nowhere the same as in Switzerland. I’ve never really thought about until yesterday after seeing an ad from a Badi looking for a Bademeister… What makes the visit to the Badi so special? For me it means summer, cooling down, eating ice cream and snacks and the place our parents used to take us to when we where kids.
