I was hanging out at ToA watching some guides I so I could try out my first raid. Some guy there offered to help me. He got me on discord and asked if I had all these specific plugins, and was like hold on, let me send you something. He told me to go into a roaming file and put some string of stuff that said runeliteplugin.runelite, or something of that nature. I did that, then something crossed my mind, I don’t know this dude, and what if this is something malicious? He asked me if I reloaded runelite yet, I said no, hold on I have a work call, and then I immediately disconnected my internet and shut down my computer. So I have a few questions. Was this a scam? And if it was, how do I make sure it didn’t work. I went into my runelite user profile and deleted all the jar files and ran a scan of my computer. Is that enough? Or is there something else I should do? I appreciate any and all constructive input. submitted by /u/Heckin-Concern
