I know most people here probably haven’t done this quest since the 2022 update, but the recent Alien Food video kind of shows how awkward it made the hastily changed wooing part of the quest. You can now choose whether you want to gain the approval of the prince or the princess, which is a good change, but you can now also become a heir’s “best friend” instead of marrying them. Because of that change, you’re no longer told anything about getting them to marry you, but rather to “gain their trust”. You have to do this by… complimenting them, flirting with them, giving them flowers and gifts, and blowing kisses at them. And then after giving them a ring to (according to Ghrim) “formalise your friendship” (lol) your character can finally pull a “will you marry me” out of nowhere They wont even accept the “friendship ring” if you haven’t given them the “friendship flowers” or blown a “friendship kiss” at them I really don’t know why they didn’t just leave it at giving you the choice of which heir you want to marry. If you’re gonna change the quest like this, put in some effort to keep it cohesive at least submitted by /u/Which-Importance-194
