So me and this girl I use to talk to reconnected. After talking for a few she told me was pregnant. I assumed the guy was out of picture. So I started doing nice things for her. Like a sucker I bought something from her gift registry. Ended up totaling $1300. It was after this she began talking about her boyfriend. Ikr. From the day I bought the item till she received everything we talked constantly. She led me to believe I still had a chance. After she got what she wanted she immediately stopped messaging. I would text her and it would take 9 to 12 hours for a reply back. So I just stopped texting altogether. She knew I still had feelings for her from when we use to talk. She somehow played on them to get me to do exactly what she wanted. She made it seem like she was this soon to be single mom. After all of this she had the audacity to invite me to the baby shower. Im not even mad about the money it’s the fact that she out of all people did it. Even after all this I refuse to let myself believe she knowingly used me. submitted by /u/VegetableResident168
