TL;DR I am finally in a position to quit buying Walmart clothes and replacing them every 3-6 months (I have one shirt that made it a year…) and hopefully find some that actually fit, but I can’t find anywhere else that even keeps a reasonable stock, much less has any quality brands. Specifically, I went out this morning prepared to pay over $100 for a good pair of jeans; I went to several retail stores: Target T.J. Maxx Ross Kohl’s Belk Men’s Wearhouse Burlington Marshall’s The “best quality” any of them sell is Levi’s, who apparently tailor their jeans to fit some alien species because they clearly weren’t made for human beings, and even when I buy 3 sizes too big in the waist so they actually get over my legs, they still bind and tear within 3 months. This has to be a brick-and-mortar store, too; I’ve tried online shopping, but even from the same brand, the same “size” will be completely different from one item to the next. I am willing to travel a couple of hours if there is a decent retailer in a major city… submitted by /u/Asatmaya
