I’m a writer. While I’m having fun exploring my female character’s personality and relationships, I’m having slight trouble with the male’s. I want to write a 3 dimensional character, and also to touch upon issues within a man’s life that needs more attention (e.g. toxic masculinity, traditional gender roles, etc.). I also want to know more about just hyper-specific things about a man, TMI is welcomed. Any insight is welcomed. I want to make my male character realistic. How would you tend to deal with your troubles? How would you like to be consoled by your partner? How would you describe your friendship with other male friends? What about female friends?
