Hey, I need some advice and input . my ex and I have been talking again recently. She says she wants to try to stay friends, but we’ve been hanging out and doing things that platonic “ friends” do. It feels like there are cracks in the “friends only” thing, and I’m honestly getting the vibe there’s still something there. Obviously Valentine’s Day is coming up, and I wanted to do something sweet but I’m worried it’s not enough or not like significant enough. So Here’s what I got/made her: heart-shaped chocolate box I made a bouquet of flowers made out of pipe cleaners (handmade) A bottle of Sprite I made a bouquet out of all sorts of Valentine’s Day candy for her and her brother A Valentine’s cat plushie A vanilla scented candle A bouquet of real flowers A $25 DoorDash gift card a mini Lego set of the Pokémon character sylveon A custom box with a heart carved into it, decorated with tissue paper that you set ablaze and once you set the the tissue paper on fire underneath is chocolate and a heart shaped piece of paper that says “I choose you” in a Pokémon-style font with a pokéball drawing shaped as a heart and toys for her cat My main questions are: Is this too much or not enough if I want her to consider getting back together and that im serious abt her Does it come off as desperate or does it come off as thoughtful? Should I remove anything or keep it as-is or add anything? submitted by /u/Poopyhead322
