i’ve been trying to date for many years now. five to be exact. i’m twenty seven years old, turning twenty eight next month, and i’ve ever only been able to get two distinct sets of dates with two women. for the first woman, after five dates, she told me that she did not like that i lacked assertiveness, but for the second woman, she said that i was perfect but she was dealing with trauma from a previous relationship, and wanted to move from her to focus on herself. again, it doesn’t change that i’m struggling to date. i like profiles, i try to send engaging conversation starters, and i use good pictures according to my friends who met their partners on the same dating app. i do believe that my dating pool is limited a bit since i do not desire children, but even my childfree friends have met their persons. submitted by /u/aganehsaanew
