Hello! I’m about to go through my army recruitment process and I’m interested in the role of explorer (Aufklärer / Explorateur). Since I don’t know anyone who has done this function, I’d like to hear from those who have. A few specific questions: What does a typical day look like as an explorer? What do we spend the most time doing? Physically, is it very demanding? What’s the hardest part? (Long hikes, lack of sleep, etc.?)
