This is one part of my personality i hate. I dont know how to negotiate. Emotional ones i do ok. But if its something about money or jobs, i just cant. I bought a bmw e46 in november for $4300, the mileage read on the web page 210k something like that. But in person it was 270k. I didnt even try to negotiate because it had 60k more miles. Got the price down by 100 bucks. Rushed it. My fault. But i never had anyone in my family to look up to and learn from. Nobody to look over it with me, nobody to negotiate with me. This car was a hard lesson. Anyway. Put in 1500 more in parts into it working by myself and had real fun learning. But the time came that the one solved thing makes 2 more pop up. My fault. So i put it up for sale. Starting process $4k. Mom rushed my to sell it. So one guy called, in the meantime i brought it down to $2k. He offered like a grand. I barely kept it at $1300. Hopefully the sale goes well after i write this in an hour. So how do i get the balls to put my foot down and stand by my price? Or put my foot down and bring it down? submitted by /u/Inevitable_Shirt3697
