This dude has popped up everywhere on my feed lately. Channel 5 News interviewed him, he was featured on The Daily, he’s getting featured on all these different podcasts and YouTube shorts, like what? I cannot think of a more unhinged individual to be giving airtime to. He’s the outward expression of a disease that is destroying men from the inside out, this hyperfixation on looks above all else as a means to grapple with our increasingly online world. The rub with all this is that not everything Clavicular says is wrong, which is part of what makes him seductive to young guys. Back in the day we’d say it’s a good idea to get in the gym and work on your appearance if you’re having trouble dating. That’s solid advice. But then Clavicular takes it to the nth degree by literally sterilizing himself with TRT, making himself impotent with finasteride, and breaking his cheekbones with a hammer. Not to get girls even, but to “mog“ other men in a game of status. Jesus Christ how sick can you get. That’s no way to live, boys. Clavicular is the aftermath of a slow motion train wreck I’ve been watching for years of men trying to play ball in the arena of status competition at the level of influencers, clubbers, and pick up artists as if that’s somehow an enjoyable place to live. That world is disgusting and corrupts everyone in it, but lonely men see videos of these dudes pulling drunk girls at the club and think that ”ah that’s who I wanna be”. As if that’s something to aspire to! Rather than build cool lives for themselves that women would want to be part of, these dudes treat dating like a psy-op that casts women as aggressors in a battle of the sexes who must be beaten. They treat other men as combatants in a game whose only objective is out-alpha’ing one another. And all that does is undermine any sort of good faith in human relationships. It’s fucking evil. I think the only way to really view Clavicular and his ilk is as a cancer on us as men brought about by the plastic facade of social media and the glorification of pick up artistry, a sort of counter-terrorist operation against women with the absolute worst intentions in the realm of influencing and clout. submitted by /u/Alexis_deTokeville
