For the last few months I’ve been on a 20x plan. I would consider myself a power user. Multiple tabs, dangerously skip permissions in sandboxes, aggressive use of Opus etc. I have only hit my limit once and I was being very aggressive that particular session. This week I switched to a corporate account with my company. Instead of monitored usage, we get a couple $1000 in credits that reset every month. I had a medium use day yesterday. Maybe 6-8 hours of real work. Then I checked my usage. It cost my company $170 in real money. In one day of work. I didn’t do anything differently than I normally would on 20x. If I was footing the bill myself, these costs would be unsustainable. I couldn’t believe how big the gap was. TLDR; we are getting massively subsidized and it’s no wonder Claude is taking steps to close the gap. submitted by /u/AvailableProcess2059
