I’m a 20 year old guy, in college, with a very large social circle, and nearly every one of them is currently in a relationship. And I’ve… basically never dated somebody for real, and it doesn’t seem like I will any time soon, and it honestly is just disheartening after a while. Back when we were all younger it just wasn’t as prevalent or important, and you can feel everybody’s priorities change… but I’m still not at that point in my life and it feels even more lonely, and even more like I’m somehow behind . And like I know the whole “Just focus on the things that make you happy” but honestly? I think my life is pretty good in a lot of ways, but and I still feel upset because this one part of it is just… cut off from me for right now. submitted by /u/MacTireGlas
