I tried to ask for a refund from Fin AI Agent and it suddenly got very confused: Gave a bull
it answer, followed by “Sorry, I’m having trouble processing your query. Please try again later”. Of course you are having trouble…
I don’t expect anything to happen, but I will ask for a refund for the tokens that were spent faster than they should have been due to a fault on Anthrophic’s infrastructure.
They have all the data they need. They know exactly which user spent how many tokens, during which time frame. This is literally a situation in which we paid for a service, and got only a fraction of it.
Fin AI Agent, which I talked to just for fun, initially made suggestions such as using extra usage. I said: you acknowledge the fault is on your end (it does btw), why am I paying for it? It then says: yes, you’re right, keep an eye on your token use. I say: how does that help?
It finally says, you can ask for a refund, but it is confused of course, it is referring to asking for refunds when the service is terminated for reasons other than policy violations. Does not matter. I will ask to be compensated for tokens anyway. According to Fin AI Agent(!), I should do this:
Go to your profile (lower left corner) > “Get help” > “Send us a message” > “Claude Refund Request”
