something i never really understood is how people think femininity in guys is correlated with their sexuality. like i thought gayness was about being attracted to the same gender, not how you look or what you wear. this was an issue for me back in high school with some of my classmates, and some weirdo seniors, made up rumors saying i was gay because i happened to enjoy “stereotypically feminine“ things. like even wearing a pastel piece of clothing as a guy will make people side eye you. i have an older millennial brother and i know it was worse in his time because people would call fem guys the f slvr and harass them etc. i was never physically harassed thankfully, but it was still weird experience overall. i am not attracted to men and never dated one before but it seems if a guy isn’t hyper masculine he suddenly wants to sleep with other guys. logic? submitted by /u/rawrz4u
