Men, I realize this post may come across as shaming or insulting, but I promise it comes from a place of seeking to recognize and celebrate you! In my line of work, I am constantly exposed to horrific stories of crimes against children -domestic violence, homicide, sexual abuse, neglect, etc. - and the vast majority of the people committing these crimes against children are men. In that line of work, men have a bad reputation. BUT… It is known there are non-violent men who provide wonderful things for children. Share your stories of how you have been/are a hero or safe male figure in a child’s life! submitted by /u/Throwthisoneaway2025
