Hi! I’m looking to get an anxiety assessment from a psychiatrist in geneva. I’m not yet that familiar with the healthcare system and wanted to ask a couple questions. Do I have to be referred to a psychiatrist by my general practitioner? or can I book one on my own? If so are both these options insured the same way? Another minor issue would be language since I wouldn’t consider my french to be good enough to express myself in the most accurate way in an assessment.
