Dear Swiss Citizens, Residents, Bünzlis and Visitors Following consultations with the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) and in strict adherence to the historical core values of our country, the moderation team of r/Switzerland has decided to implement Total Digital Neutrality (TDN) , effective immediately. In an era of increasing global polarization, we are returning to our roots. From this moment forward, expressing a definitive opinion within these subreddits is prohibited. What does this mean All comments will now be filtered by our new Neutrality Bot. Any post or comment taking a clear side will be removed for “endangering domestic peace” and “breach of diplomatic etiquette.” Permissible phrases include, but are not limited to: “It depends on various factors.” “Both sides have valid points.” “I abstain from this vote.” “We must first wait for the results of the consultation procedure (Vernehmlassung).” “This is a matter for the cantons to decide.” “Generally speaking, I am neither for nor against it.” Sanctions for Opinionated Behavior Users who attempt to win an argument or (heaven forbid) take a stand will be temporarily moved to “Observer Status” by the use of a flair. This is a read-only mode that remains in effect until the individual submits written proof of their impartiality. We thank you for your understanding, valued passivity and neutrality. submitted by /u/CornellWeills
