What do women want in general for a relationship? M here asking silly question to all the fellow redditors. I and my gf are in a relationship for more than 4 years. Yesterday one of her bestie from office mentioned to her that I am not a manly guy. According to her I am cute by looks and by way of talking but dosent look manly while having a talk. she mentioned that in a hypothetical situation where I and my gf would be alone somewhere and are being troubled by some drunk men then I won’t be taking a stand and would only try to take her away from situationa and not fight back and taking her stand. and today when my gf told me this I was very dissapointed. I thingk somewhat she told about the situation was true bcz in general I try to avoid confrontation as I am far from my native place and try to avoid any interactions with the localites. I am constantly thinking about my life choices now. my gf instead of defending me supported her points by mentioning something I had done earlier to avoid confrontation. (earlier I had borrowed someone’s car for rent and while driving it near the toll someone pushed his car against mine and I didn’t fight back him. As soon as I spoke the other man got to know I’m not from local and he began to raise his voice during argument) this thing is constantly revolving in my mind and I do have now a feeling that I am a coward and don’t take any action if things are escalating. what should I do now. I believe she’s also thinking that I’m a coward and in future I won’t be raising my voice to take her stand(she didn’t mentioned this clearly but I got this from her way of talking) submitted by /u/Any-Tomato4392
