The quest would detail how Harlow was so effective at killing vampyres, because of his weapon, a crossbow that fired garlic bolts, these stopped the blood of feral vampyres from clotting, meaning his target would bleed out. However, in the long-term all of the violence would turn Harlow to drink. However, now some feral vampyre raiding parties are slipping through from Morytania (as the salve can no longer hold them). And King Roald has ordered defensive measures. Harlow will have to confront his past, to save Varrock’s future. Rewards Harlow’s Crossbow This weapon would be F2P but with additional members benefits, it would be between Blurite and Iron crossbows in strength and can shoot garlic bolts (made by cutting garlic bulbs, gaining cooking instead of fletching experience). This would make for a workable F2P crossbow and an alternative to maple shortbow. For members, the crossbow would have a bleed effect that can be triggered when fighting Feral Vampyres. This effect will quickly take large amounts of health from them. It won’t work on other Vampyres (as there is enough lore on them).
