Ask the question said “How would you handle going from 2 incomes to 1 if your wife became a stay-at-home mom?” If you’ve been through it, what was it actually like? If not, how do you think it would change your life or mindset? I live in a community where the default is a single income family and if the wife works the money is hers to keep. So that is the origin of my question. I know a lot of different communities also do go the single income family route, and since our community due to the economy is going from single income (as in husband pays all expenses) to a 2 income house hold, but once children pop in we go back to the default option. submitted by /u/-Harvest
