I’m not complaining that tokens exist or that resources are finite. I get it. Reality bites. What I find insane is that Anthropic literally won’t even allow me to pay them more money in the form of a subscription model that “feels unlimited” in nature. It’s the middle of the work day… and my only options are shelling out another $200 for another pro max plan which is overkill… or grinding my teeth into dust while I watch the token count churn at $50/million token output or whatever insane prices they charge on the API… I am aware the API exists at an exhorbitant eye-watering cost compared to even the basic plan token costs… that is not an option.
